Ambiance Luxe Wedding | Connecticut Farm Wedding at the Golden Lamb Buttery {Photography by Michelle Gardella}

Perfection is in the details! Jackie of Ambiance Luxe put together the most beautiful wedding with her bride Ester, focusing on rustic touches mixed expertly with elegant florals and soft touches. Ester and Ho Kai were married on June 9, 2012 at the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, CT.  We loved working with Katie at the Golden Lamb, an unbelievable hidden gem of a wedding venue with acres of farmland and beautiful horses, sheep, and cattle. Michelle Gardella took the most enchanted images of the picturesque surroundings, expertly dressed bridal party, and amazing floral designs and décor by Carey from Stems Flower Design. Ester & Ho Kai, thank you for choosing Ambiance to plan your special day with you. It was truly magical and we are so happy to share your photos!

Special Featured Wedding | Erica & Jonathan | Ambiance Luxe Wedding at Aurora Inn {Photography by Binaryflips}

It’s such a joy to blog about our own wedding. It’s definitely a wedding planner’s dream to finally meet her soul-mate and start the planning! Jonathan and I got married at the Aurora Inn in Aurora, NY, just a little bit over a year ago on June 4, 2011. We were so excited when Well Wed decided to feature our Wedding in their Summer 2012 issue. You can find the magazine out now in bookstores and online. Since I haven’t yet blogged our wedding, I am going to post the feature from Well Wed and  more of our wedding photos that we love so much. Dennis & Binaryflips, thank you so much for capturing our wedding so beautifully. We love our photos! We loved working with Kevin and Jennifer Huss of Kevin Lee Studios for videography, and we still watch our video whenever we can (such a wise investment, every bride should have a videographer)!

Our wedding vendors were so fantastic, and truly made our dream wedding complete. Thank you so much to Heather from the Aurora Inn, I absolutely could not have put together our wedding without you. Adrienne, from Admire Design, you were an incredible Maid of Honor and we loved our Wedding Paper from Save the Dates, to Rehearsal Dinner Invite, Wedding Invite, and Wedding Day Paper! Stacy of Stacy K Floral designed the most unbelievable wedding flowers for us. They were stunning, fresh, unique, and so us. Our gorgeous cake was from Maria of La Dolce Vita Cakes in Auburn, NY, and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. Maria also made us fresh macaroons and cupcakes as well. Rob Corr of Correlation Productions from Newington, CT, did us the honor of traveling up for entertainment and to provide lighting for our wedding with his team. We honestly did not stop dancing! Our chairs, chargers, cotton candy, and popcorn machines came from Hank Parker Rentals of Rochester, and linens were from Nuage Designs, BBJ Linen, and Cloth Connection. Bella Umbrella of Seattle sent the most beautiful vintage parasols for us for our photos, and we loved them so much!

Erica Abdo did an incredible job with all of our makeup, and Maria McEvoy was the makeup artist for our two moms, they were so beautiful. We loved our hair by Meredith of the Bride’s Hairstylist. I love how each of our hair styles were so different! Adrienne, Caitlin, and Erin’s dresses were Alvina Valenta from Stylish Impressions of Farmington, CT. My dress was an incredible find at Kleinfeld straight off the runway from Michelle Roth (who I loved meeting at my first appointment)! I chose the first dress I tried on and it was magical. Thank you as well to Jill of Kleinfeld for making my experience so easy. Adrienne & I embellished my shoes to make a one of a kind pair of raindrop bottom shoes. Jonthan, Theron, Doug, and Alan wore suits from Brooks Brothers, sweater vests (oh so Jonathan!) and each of the groomsmen had argyle socks and a different bowtie.

Thank you to my Father in Law, Pastor Douglass Powell, MD, and Mother-In-Law Cathy for performing such a personal and exciting ceremony to officiate for us, and my parents, Ann and Dave for hosting and throwing such a beautiful reception for us. To all of our guests who traveled to the wedding, thank you so much for making our wedding such an incredible and joyous event. We had such an amazing time with you! Lastly, to my Jonathan, thank you for being such an amazing husband. I am so proud to be your wife and can’t wait to see our little baby girl, arriving in August!

Ambiance Luxe Celebrity Wedding | Connecticut Country Club Wedding at Greenwich Country Club {Photography by Binaryflips}

Just by looking at the pictures you can see that supermodel Marianna Petrovskaya and financial guru Todd Westhus where made for each other. They met in a NYC coffee shop and fell instantly in love. This absolutely beautiful couple were married at Saint Mary’s Church in Greenwich, CT with their reception at The Greenwich Country Club. We can’t say enough about the GCC, from it’s stunning golf course views, romantic old-world ballroom and delicious food, it’s a dream location to have a wedding.

Elisabeth from Blush Floral Design created the florals and probably one of our favorite bouquets for 2011, and Adrienne from Admire Design created gorgeous custom wedding stationery for Marianna and Todd. As always Denis and his team from Binaryflips took breathtaking photographs. We are captivated by the beauty of all of the photographs, but especially those of Marianna! What a beautiful bride a supermodel makes! D.D. Nickel had Marianna looking flawless and stunning with her perfect bridal makeup styling. Yamasa at Hopscotch in Greenwich gave Marianna a beautiful hollywood glam style with her natural curls and feather headpiece. Eva Redfield styled the bridesmaids’ hair perfectly to compliment Marianna’s. Music and entertainment was provided by the fantastic band Ovation from Around the Town. Celeste Studios did a fantastic job of capturing Marianna & Todd’s wedding film, and we are hoping to share the video with you soon. Thank you Marianna, Todd and Max for allowing Ambiance to share in your special day! We are so happy you chose us.

Marianna & Todd’s Wedding Planned by Jackie Esposito of Ambiance Luxe, and designed by Jackie Esposito & Erica Powell.

Harkness State Park Eolia Mansion | Photo Shoot for Grace Ormonde {Photos by JAG Studios}

When a bride is looking for upscale, luxury wedding inspiration, Grace Ormonde Magazine has it all from couture bridal fashion to cutting edge table designs. We were so thrilled to be asked to join the Grace Ormonde Platinum List last year, which is a collection of Luxury wedding vendors that is by invite only. Last June, shortly after we became a part of the Platinum List in CT, RI, and NY, Grace’s editors asked us to be a part of a photo shoot at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT. We started our table with an inspiration photo provided by Grace’s editorial team from an Elle Decor interior as inspiration. We are excited to share the first inspiration photos, our gorgeous photos from the shoot taken by JAG Studios, and the editorial feature in Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style New England Magazine, which is currently on news stands.

Our photo shoot team was incredible, Ambiance Luxe and Stacy K Floral designed the table and chose the design elements. Stacy’s beautiful design included flowers in shades of fuschia, lavender, and purple. Adrienne Craig of Admire Design created the unique dinner menus. The linens came from Nuage Designs out of New York and Miami, and our beautiful rental furniture came from AFR Event Furnishings in Rocky Hill, CT. Jacklyn Greenberg of JAG Studios captured the vibrant colors and unique location with incredible finesse. Thank you so much to Grace Ormonde & her editors for inviting us to be a part of this beautiful shoot!

Connecticut Cocktails & Connections | The Knot Connecticut Networking Event {Photos by JAG Studios}

The Knot website and magazine are some of the most sought after wedding planning resources out there today, and we have been happy advertisers for as long as we have been in business. We were asked in late July 2011 to plan and design The Knot Vendor Networking Event, Cocktails & Connections, for Connecticut vendors. Over the next two and half months, we were so excited to pull together a beautiful and successful event showcasing vendors from throughout CT that are fellow Knot Advertisers.

After the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station joined our team to provide the beautiful venue and backdrop for the event, and the delicious food, we started to pull together our amazing team. We started with a fun fall concept, incorporating a rich and deep color palette of oranges and peaches, plums, lime greens, and chocolate browns. Tony Palmieri, from Datura: A Modern Garden, designed some incredible hanging chandelier adornments with candle holders and leaves, and unique, natural centerpieces for the cocktail tables, and a gorgeous arch for the center of the room, while Cloth Connection provided our spectacular linens. Chelsea Tyler of Everthine Bridal Boutique in Madison brought two incredibly stunning dresses to showcase as the focal point and the centerpiece of our room under Tony’s incredible chuppah. Hope Wright-Martell from A Little Imagination Wedding Cakes knocked herself out with a stunning autumn-inspired branchy cake with amber leaves. Jackie Esposito from Ambiance Luxe came up with the fun idea to have a nut and granola display with custom-designed labels from Admire Design. Rob Corr and his team Correlation Productions provided the most beautiful event lighting and kept the event hopping with their amazing library of music. Jacklyn Greenberg of JAG Studios captured the event with her stunning photographs. We hope you enjoy these fantastic images from JAG Studios!
