When a bride is looking for upscale, luxury wedding inspiration, Grace Ormonde Magazine has it all from couture bridal fashion to cutting edge table designs. We were so thrilled to be asked to join the Grace Ormonde Platinum List last year, which is a collection of Luxury wedding vendors that is by invite only. Last June, shortly after we became a part of the Platinum List in CT, RI, and NY, Grace’s editors asked us to be a part of a photo shoot at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT. We started our table with an inspiration photo provided by Grace’s editorial team from an Elle Decor interior as inspiration. We are excited to share the first inspiration photos, our gorgeous photos from the shoot taken by JAG Studios, and the editorial feature in Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style New England Magazine, which is currently on news stands.

Our photo shoot team was incredible, Ambiance Luxe and Stacy K Floral designed the table and chose the design elements. Stacy’s beautiful design included flowers in shades of fuschia, lavender, and purple. Adrienne Craig of Admire Design created the unique dinner menus. The linens came from Nuage Designs out of New York and Miami, and our beautiful rental furniture came from AFR Event Furnishings in Rocky Hill, CT. Jacklyn Greenberg of JAG Studios captured the vibrant colors and unique location with incredible finesse. Thank you so much to Grace Ormonde & her editors for inviting us to be a part of this beautiful shoot!
The Knot website and magazine are some of the most sought after wedding planning resources out there today, and we have been happy advertisers for as long as we have been in business. We were asked in late July 2011 to plan and design The Knot Vendor Networking Event, Cocktails & Connections, for Connecticut vendors. Over the next two and half months, we were so excited to pull together a beautiful and successful event showcasing vendors from throughout CT that are fellow Knot Advertisers.

After the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station joined our team to provide the beautiful venue and backdrop for the event, and the delicious food, we started to pull together our amazing team. We started with a fun fall concept, incorporating a rich and deep color palette of oranges and peaches, plums, lime greens, and chocolate browns. Tony Palmieri, from Datura: A Modern Garden, designed some incredible hanging chandelier adornments with candle holders and leaves, and unique, natural centerpieces for the cocktail tables, and a gorgeous arch for the center of the room, while Cloth Connection provided our spectacular linens. Chelsea Tyler of Everthine Bridal Boutique in Madison brought two incredibly stunning dresses to showcase as the focal point and the centerpiece of our room under Tony’s incredible chuppah. Hope Wright-Martell from A Little Imagination Wedding Cakes knocked herself out with a stunning autumn-inspired branchy cake with amber leaves. Jackie Esposito from Ambiance Luxe came up with the fun idea to have a nut and granola display with custom-designed labels from Admire Design. Rob Corr and his team Correlation Productions provided the most beautiful event lighting and kept the event hopping with their amazing library of music. Jacklyn Greenberg of JAG Studios captured the event with her stunning photographs. We hope you enjoy these fantastic images from JAG Studios!
Rick & Darren’s wedding took place October 9, 2011, and their wedding was an adventure from the very first day we started working together. Rick took me on a journey through Litchfield County as we looked at the most unique and un-thought of bed and breakfasts, mansion rentals, and private homes as possible venues for their reception. We so saw many beautiful places, but we knew right away that Ragamont House Bed & Breakfast was the perfect venue for Rick & Darren’s wedding, and their gorgeous ceremony spot soon became Lion Rock Farm, just a few minutes down the road. It matched their style and their vision perfectly! We had about three and a half months to plan Rick & Darren’s beautiful fall wedding including venue searching, vendor selection, tent and rental selection, and complete design of this oh-so-elaborate and unique African Vintage inspired soiree. Their style evolved from a travel inspired wedding to a very personal take on what they loved most about travel and music. Enjoy Rick & Darren’s incredible photos by Binaryflips, it was truly a stunning wedding!
A special thanks to all of Rick & Darren’s vendors: Pete & Bruce (owner & executive chef) at the Ragamont House Bed & Breakfast, Elaine at Lion Rock Farm, Candi’s Floral Creations for helping us to bring Rick & Darren’s vision to life, Adrienne at Admire Design for her incredible and unique paper including the gorgeous animal place cards with calligraphy by Pat Faust, Carte Blanche for their perfectly heavenly performance, Correlation Productions for the stunning event lighting and pipe system for our drapes, Taylor Rental Party Plus of Manchester for the tent and main framework for the reception, Eileen Smith of Party Rental LTD for the farm tables and table settings, and Marge Berry for performing the ceremony. Rick & Darren thank you so much for choosing Ambiance Luxe to plan your incredible wedding!
Devin & Bruce were married October 16, 2011 by Allison Dolan Hall, JP, at the Kimberly Hotel. We planned their music-filled evening from scratch in about three months, and enjoyed every minute of our time with Devin, Bruce, and their amazing vendors. Adrienne Craig of Admire Design created their invitations and unique ceremony programs. David Lewis, broadway musical director, brought together two fantastic broadway singers, Jacob Hoffman and Will Taylor. Sylvia Tosun, made an appearance singing a few songs with David’s quartet. DJ Sted-E provided the dance and party music and lighting for the evening. Flowers were designed by Tony Palmieri of Datura: A Modern Garden. A very special cake featuring Tulsa, Devin & Bruce’s parrot, was created by Lauri DiTunno of the legendary Manhattan bakery Cake Alchemy. Jacklyn Greenberg and her team from JAG Studios caught the entire event in the some of the most stunning and artistic photos we have seen yet! We are so excited to share this wedding with you.
